The information each entry contains can vary. Some entries are duplicated in different newspapers, as this is how the parents of the child were able to let family members residing in other districts of New Zealand, and even overseas of the birth.

These entries include:

Surname

Fathers name or initials (some entries also contain the occupation of the father)

Whether the child was a son or daughter (or twins or still born)

Date of birth (day, month, year)

Place of Birth

Newspaper the entry was extracted from.

The newspaper entries do not contain the first names of the infant, but by going to the New Zealand Government Birth Death and Marriage, Historical Website https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/Home/ and entering the information into their search engine, it will give you the first names of the child. With the information you receive from this search and the information given from the newspaper entries you have if not all, nearly all of the information given on a birth certificate printout.
